No no. We need to stop associating DLO and AR as if they are joined at the hip. You stated that “they” keep coming up short in the post season. That is a very inaccurate statement. Facts state DLO keeps coming up short in post season. Besides AR having a lower 3 pt% this last post season, he has been solid if not better than the regular season in the playoffs. DLO is your issue. It’s unfair to continue to blame AR by association. Did we forget the defense he played on Murray this last playoff series? Did we forget ARs first playoff series against the nuggets where he averaged 20 ppg and shot over 40% from 3? Let’s stop this narrative please. AR and DLO are two separate players.

U talking as if Murray couldn’t score when he wanted to 😂.. AR’s defense is the main reason we lost that series. Ppl pair them together because their offense isn’t worth the terrible defense played by both. Sure AR puts up better stats than DLO , but dlo is always guarded with the tougher perimeter defender, meaning teams strategize for DLO and practically let AR do what he wants.

@@wills.9422 Murray shot less than 40% from the field and less than 30% from 3. So he was definitely not scoring efficiently at all. That is called good defense. Also, AR always has the taller guard on him, so not sure where you are seeing a better defender on DLO. Nice try buddy. Also, not sure an around 20 and 10 record to end the season (66 win%) would be possible with “terrible defense” previous year lakers were actually top 5-10 in defense.

@@tuned3224 Murray was the 4th QT leading scorer for the whole series. So when it mattered most, he scored when he wanted to. And AR was guarded by Jamal Murray the nuggets worse defender. DLO was guarded by KCP Denver’s best perimeter defender. Even the playoffs b4, AR is always guarded by the worse defender. He was guarded by steph, ja, and murray lol.. the worst defender on every team.. teams respect DLO way more!

@@wills.9422 sure. They respect DLO so much that nobody wants him on their team and he has to pick up his 18 mil option. Keep that energy once he gets traded this season. I’ll be here cheering for AR as he continues to improve year over year. Too bad DLO peaked and had his best season last year, and teams still don’t want him. Hard to want a player who doesn’t show up in the playoffs. Wishing all the lakers good luck and hopefully DLO had a good start to season so he can actually have some trade value.
