Love the over head footage on finger placement. Much more visible. Never saw anyone else do it giving lessons online.

I've become a huge fan of Mr. Trapp. He plays the guitar like no one else. He can really bring out a feeling from six strings like no one else.

I'm becoming a fan of Collings Guitars. They have a respect for the wood, a classic tone that doesn't copy. I mainly came here because of Guthrie's teaching/ playing!
@burrencrawler
@burrencrawler 5 жыл бұрын
"doesn't copy"? Are you for real? This is a copy of a Gibson les Paul special, same pickups, wood, colour, config etc, why bother? They are slightly changing the pick guard shape, slightly changing the headstock shape, I mean, why.....?

@@burrencrawler Bill Collings' guitars are on a completely different level than Gibson. Pick one up if you ever get the chance.

Man Guthrie, did this ever help me out of a rut. I was starting to feel like my licks were sounding repetitive and very predictable, just in different keys and speeds depending on what I was playing over. I've found that Im able to incorporate these licks and then some slight variations that I just made up, and wow does just a few new tools ever help you get your second wind as an inspiring guitarist. Thanks tons, I love all your work and cant wait for you to come to Colorado.

Beautifully-made guitars. Most every one you pick up is pretty flawless. Although that scratchy vibrato at the 10th fret sounds like this guitar needs some fret polishing love. Help the man out!

Kinda of fun watching this older video of yours....you kept it really simple. That being said, I am not sure if you just made leaps and bounds in your playing over the last 5 years...but it seems like your newer video's your playing is a lot more complex these days....I am not sure if Im making any sense or not? ... :-)
