This is an excellent informative guide to enjoying Toyama and the surrounding area. Thank you very much. I will try to visit in April-May of 2025. I’m already looking forward to it.

Lovely. A prefecture I’ve yet to explore. Cycling is such a lovely way to see things too. Great video.

Watching the video, many memories have come to mind since I lived in Namerikawa-shi, a city near the capital of Toyama. At that time, there was not even a Shinkansen direct to Toyama. How it got even more beautiful. Thank you for rescuing those memories. Arigato from Brasil.

Would this be considered a side trip from Tokyo? This wasn't originally part of my itinerary but after watching this video now it is. I'd really love to try Route 1 or Route 5.
@japanguide
@japanguide 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks to the shinkansen, Toyama is now just two hours from Tokyo. You can arrive there as early as 8:30 and depart as late as 21:20. So, I guess you could consider it a side trip from Tokyo.

Yes, it is. It’s not so difficult to go around! But Toyama is a place where it snows and gets cold in winter. If you travel Toyama, early fall is good!
