I also feel silence and being in the country. I felt suffocated in Manchester, so I ironically went to Llandudno for a small weekend away. I was out for a walk with the dog the other day and saw a couple of water voles/rats walking along the banks of a burn/brook. I enjoy watching nature like that, and I am sure there was a buzzard there with gorgeous beige feathers. Have a happy Christmas and a blessed hogmanay from aberdeenshire. One place I would love to return to is Cromarty up in the black isle.
