I absolutely adore Herod. I find it so natural smelling. I get a good amount of vanilla in the dry down which is my favorite part. I also like Sedley quite a bite as a fresh scent. I’ll have to give some of these a try.

Bro.....PDM is legit. Herod is a gem for sure. But im telling you....the Habdan and Haltane scents are game changers.

Had to get Layton with all the hype and it’s very well worth it , that being said if money is tight Détour Noir by Al Haramain is a terrific alternative and is very close to Layton imo, great niche house , although my favorite is Mancera , but they have a ton of options, great video 👍🏻

Hi, thanks for the review. We have different taste mate. Maybe it's skin chemistry. I don't like Layton. Herod has a magnificent opening, but a weak and boring dry down. A pass. Haltane and Oud for Greatness are off putting on me - had to wash it off. Next week I'll smell Habdan for the first time. I love Oajan, so I hope to love it as well. If so, I'll buy it. I own Carlisle and Godolphin (and Side Effect, Carlisle's second half), btw.

The small bottles are not good deals.... I got 125ml Layton for 189 from Jomashop on Black Friday. I just bought the 125ml Carlisle for $199 from a small discounter I've never heard anyone talk about out of Texas. You save 60 bucks going for the small bottle but get less than half of the 125ml. Look around. You can find deals on the 4.2oz....
