Unless there is an agenda and someone dosnt want this message passed around- which is very very sad. My husband is a soldier, he’s getting out in a few months. And no a soldier and his family are not rolling in money. At least us enlisted. Please check out Seasons change and Remember everything by FFDP!

BillyYouSoCrazy this song is hard for me to listen to. My nephew was in Afghanistan and came back with severe PTSD. He was lucky to come home to a house and a family who supports him no matter what. He was lucky to come home. I think I’ve said it before. I should say it every video. Thanks. My heroes don’t wear capes. They wear dog tags.

The second verse gives me chills, breaks my heart, and makes me cry 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦. That little girl simply wanted to see a sad man smile. And her ignorant mother yanked her away from a strange, dirty, homeless man, who in her mind, means harm. His sadness returns, and he lilts over, clutching the weathered photo of his own daughter. The imagery is so profound. This is why FFDP is king of Veterans’s Rights.

I've been watching 'reaction' youtube videos on "Wrong Side of Heaven" and "Gone Away" for a couple of days now. As a Marine Veteran of the mission in Somalia, I've been looking for ways to outreach to fellow veterans and get a conversation going. Watching this video and your reaction is terrific. This song is shocking and grabs at the heart strings and I think has a duel purpose: 1. To talk to those that didn't serve and create an appreciation and an idea that you really have no idea what a veteran might be living through. It isn't Call of Duty. And 2 to reach out to veterans and encourage them to get help. Our oath of service doesn't end when we take off the uniform. It should continue towards our communities and fellow veterans.

Thank you for your service Billy, I'm not military, but my family is. My grandfather served in the air Force and my dad in the army. I was supposed to, but I became a mommy instead, I appreciate the sacrifice our military and vets made for freedom, and honestly, I cried like a baby after a seeing this video because I honestly don't understand how our government allows the men and women who sacrificed their lives for our freedom to end up homeless and alone, I just want to say to all vets, thank you so much for what you've done for our country and God Bless you. Prayers for all of you. And thanks again Billy for fighting to keep awareness and this video up, people need to know why they are free, and vets need someone to fight for them after giving their lives for us to have the rights and lives we have. Love and respect for all of you!

Thank you for your service, Billy. It's a sacrifice, Lord knows. Also, did you see what Jacobi said to the character before he helped him up? "You saved my life, brother!" And then "What are you doing out here?" It's a major issue, veteran's homelessness, and it's an atrocity what this country does to its vets.
