This is what its about...playing drills that sound beautiful and musical. Drills dont have to suck! I hate practicing lame scales. This makes it super fun and soothing! Anyone complaining about going too fast should just sub your patreon. I learned to play guitar a year ago and learning fast now w/ all your excellent drills (and stacks of patreon tabs)

Ok. I’m hooked. Stumbled across your channel this morning. Finally someone teaching guitar and not just how to half play a song. Will it be challenging to learn? YES. Will I enjoy every minute of it? Probably not, it’s practice right. But will I enjoy the guitar more in the future because of. Absolutely! Marco thank you for videos. Became a subscriber right away. Can’t wait to wade through some of your other videos.

For those down below looking for the tabs, become a patroen. For $5 a month you get the tabs and you can take your own time to practice. If I want a 1/2 hour lesson where I live it costs £12.50. £25 per hour. I know I paid it. Now I find it easier to subscribe and become a patroen to Marco but it takes patience man. You have to take it slowly if you are a beginner - intermediate as I am its not easy. But when I hear those sweet notes, this is MY type of picking. Forget about AC/DC and your heavy metal, this kind of picking is sweet folk and blues and even some spanish thrown in. For a $5 dollar subscription thats not even the price of 2 beers. Enjoy

Always stay behind us like this. Finger picking is legendary but we have no good teacher in India in finger picking. And a little place like our village here we don't have any good teacher in guitar. But I am learning and able to play some chords and scales but I feel that there is something missing in my playing. But whenever I watch your video I enjoy and enriched. Recently I started to play finger style but not able progress my self. This video will immensely help us. Lots of love from India....♥️♥️♥️♥️

Dont get too comfortable with just chords or when you start finger style, when switching between notes that are not next to each other you're gonna touch other notes or strings you dont want to and it'll be very uncomfortable. Try to let your left hand loosen so its not always so use to being held down by your thumb. Jumping around note to note will be like going from a bike to a unicycle if your fingers and left hand isn't use to being free. Im saying this because this is me right now, I got too use to having my thumb just wrapped around the neck to reach the Low E string that if I don't have it there to anchor my left hand I will touch strings I don't want to.

I don't know why I didn't respond to this video last year, but today I am going to get on one of the higher tiers on Patreon for this guy. Let's see how it goes. One thing I would like to see in your tabs is what chord is playing at the moment. That way I could also see whether I am hitting the root, third, fifth, or whatever of that chord.

Thank you.! I’ve been looking for tip #2 for a long time. Not starting on the root every time, picking a few notes from each scale…. I’m excited to focus on using your advice in my practice sessions. I’ve been missing the purpose part and your example is the perfect starting point to get past that. I’d either practice scales with improv over backing tracks or songs with little to no lead work but never really both at the same time -chords with nice little melodic fills between chord changes. That is exactly what will take my playing to the next level. Thanks again for sharing this!
