The one where you started doing the picking with the fingers was like the first day I picked up a guitar hard to do it hurt the hand LOL but just like everything else if I keep doing it it's just going to be easy

THANKS, ANDREW!! INSTILLS RUNS OF ANY GIVEN KEY, EVENTUALLY COVERING EVERY SINGLE OCTAVE!! AS A FEW LYRICS FROM THE "DAVE CLARK FIVE!" "I SAID, & OVER AND OVER AND OVER, AGAIN!" WILL BECOME PART OF GUITARIST!

I have just started noodling and creating useful riffs in Aminor and Eminor recently. Hopefully this will help me as I like riffs on 2 adjacent strings more which helps to bending and long slides. Good work Andrew as usual! Keep on.

I think it's fine throw up all the stuff you want because you just do the stuff you can and go back to the stuff that you can't later a lot of the stuff that he's showing us and I'm new at this I'm able to do and at the same speed as he's doing it and I've only been doing this for less than 2 years and I'm 60 years old not bad this guy's a great teacher thanks teach keep them coming😁😎

You keep doing videos on "ultimate" exercise for guitar, like the spider walk, etc. Can you please just settle on one set of exercises that gives us a good foundation to technique and accuracy? In any case, I want to thank you for all the lessons you provide us!

That doesn't exist my friend, guitar exercises do not work like that. There are hundreds and hundreds of exercises that we need to do on guitar through our lifetime. Basically every muscle move (left and right hands) needs to eventually be covered. My classical teacher said Andres Segovia had a book with over 5000 exercises he studied over his lifetime. You cannot narrow it down to 3 or 4 or 10 studies. You just cannot think that way. For every guitar exercise that you learn to do, there are 1000 you cannot do!

Also earlier in my program I got frustrated and I think I even yelled at him,beg my pard Andrew,🙂 to slow it down just work on your Technique until you're able to do this stuff it'll come try to not get frustrated that's all if you get frustrated put the guitar down go back to it later and don't ever give up no matter how frustrated you get and do not give up cuz you eventually will be able to do this stuff I know cuz I'm doing it and I didn't think I'd ever be able to do it doesn't matter anything you can learn will help you in the long run

1:45 is the pad of your first finger pressing the C note for the last part of the first half of the exercise? I'm confused as you did not even explain it in the video.

That 4th(?) exercise between the 2nd and 5th string is especially miserable. My fingers just don't want to cooperate.

I understand that these exercises challenge the muscle memory in your fingers but It seems counterproductive to practice phrases that aren't derived from musical scales, arpeggios. Just figure these ideas could be put to musical use.. two birds one stone.

Use the exercises to practice your keys by playing in all 12 keys then. You'll be practicing note recognition simultaneously?
