That is unless you use Sales Ban on it. Basically, Sales Ban prevents your opponent from activating a specific card on your turn, and it can apply to any card in the game, so long as you can name it. The trade off, however, is that it also prevents you from activating the effects of that same specific card for the rest of the duel. You would probably use this mainly on hand traps or card effects you know are crucial for your opponent's strategy, so long as you don't also have copies of the same card in your deck. However, if you specifically target Five-Headed Link Dragon, it completely gets rid of the detrimental cost effect, allowing it to stay on the field permanently. The only way for your opponent to get it off the field at that point is to either somehow beat over it with a Light monster or an Egyptian god, or to use Kaiju/Santa Claws/Underworld Goddess. But this also doesn't have to be a problem, as you can actually plan for that strategy by summoning Borreload Savage Dragon after it's gone to the graveyard (alternatively, get FLD out of the Extra Deck, and immediately into the graveyard through card effects, then summon Borreload Savage). This not only gets you a monster with 5500 ATK, but also five Borrel Counters for five negations.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Like you used 5 monsters to make this so you have BARE MINIMUM 2 turns to rekt your opponent with a 5k towers on crack (cause the banishing happens during the OPPONENTS end phase). To me this is up there with borreload/sword as link monsters you make to smash your opponents face in.

The thing is, you could end up losing important cards(for good) you want to get back from the GY. And if your opponent survives long enough, you will lose all of your GY cards and this thing just self-destructs after it gobbles up your GY. If it didn't make the banished cards face-down then it might be manageable since you can at least recycle them to recover from this. Its just not comfortable with this restriction on honestly.

I mean given there's no restrictions on what monsters can be used to make it, the fact it's a 5k beater that's unaffected by your opponent's cards, and can only die in battle to specifically light monsters (Not to mention the potential field wipe), This card better have an upkeep lol. Not every deck plays lights to out this kind of card, and generally the process of getting to those 5 monsters on field (Unless you cheese it through like scapegoat) is going to result in you having the gy setup to keep this around a turn or two. That said this isn't quite as busted as Verte Anaconda letting you turn any 2 effect monsters and a 2k lp investment into an instant Super-Poly.

When every Link 4 i can think of, even some Link 3s are better generic bosses than this. Zeroboros has a better nuke effect and gets stronger, the other Topologics also nuke parts of the field and do burn damage, Avramax and Borrelsword for big numbers, Borreload for versality, BLS link is pretty good too. No real reason to play this over anything else, unless you REALLY want to send it to the GY and equip it to Savage Dragon.

From the comments it seems people are kinda on the fence with this monster. yeah certain decks can summon it with ease but at the same time, the nuke effect is only obtainable by using different elemental monsters meaning without them, its just a unaffected 5k monster which is still pretty good but if u dont nuke ur opponents field, that means they can stall till it leaves. So pretty much, u have to end this duel if u summon this or else u just wasted ur resources. So I can see why people can see this card as good but also bad at the same time.

Well I am not saying banishin 5 cards is not a big deal but İt is a 5 k beater that Can t be effected by effects and can only be destroyed by Light monsters in battle(also can wipe out your enemies whole board) İt needed a weakness

It’s a stronger ultimate falcon that can only be destroyed by light monsters. The banish mechanic makes sense, since it’s otherwise unbeatable against practically every deck except ones siding utopia the lightning.

@@The1of1000 prolly because people nowadays rarely run near unkillable big monster like this one as well. Still, Avramax is a legitimate and cheaper way to deal with this card. Every methods (other than kaijuu, nibiru, etc) are feasible, until the controller of this card uses Lair of Darkness after summoning this big damn monster..

Easy enough to summon in Danger Dark World, just include in 3 Pre-Preparation of Rites, 1 Elemental Mistress Doriado and her Ritual Spell. Doriado counts as all of the other elements on field and Dangers and Dark Worlds are DARK. You're welcome.

Meanwhile old FGD doesn't have a maintenance cost, can be brought back easily if it ever got send to the GY (provided you summoned it properly, and man it's real easy to do that)...oh and no maintenance cost!
