I don’t mind MPJ but he’s still a third option. Not good off the bounce and best operating off the ball, there will be a learning curve with him and he will be a worse defender and connector than Tobias Harris is even if he is a more of a sure shot. No to Poole, LaVine or anyone derailing Ivey’s continued growth. You can’t beat having 22yr old Ivey and 23 yr old Cunningham getting this invaluable experience together how Tatum and Brown were able to. Remember SGA was averaging over 20ppg for almost five seasons and they stood Pat cycling through flexible contracts and vets who helped to facilitate the progress of the main players like CP.

The Wizards deal makes no sence based on both front offices stated goals. It's a fan trade not a real deal that either GM would consider.

I don't really think trading for a guard to start next to Cade makes any sense. You're making a marginal improvement over Ivey but not addressing the real weakness of the team which is 4 and 5, while you're giving up assets and tying yourself to mediocre players for 2-3 years.

It's a good problem, but a problem nonetheless: there's just not enough here, Cade has 13 teammates and it's entirely possible none of them ever make an all-star game. You can't build a title contender with no other stars and no assets to get them. Seriously, you should stick to football.

I know this is older, but a lot of these trades are 🤢🤮. JI just hit a 4 point winning play. He's becoming a good player. Lavine hurts the team financially for moves in the future and the culture. JD been rough but I'm not getting rid of any 21 year old for a 30+ year old. If we trade JD it has to be for someone like Sabonis or another top big man. They don't need big names or trades just to trade.
