Yes siree, these are the legendary and iconic teachers and mentors we all had. This is Milton Bullock (formerly of the Platters) who studied Rudy West and Bill Kenny to the 'T'. Of all the legendary lead Doo-wop singers who ever stepped into their shoes-these two crooners/balladeers could do it unlike any other to have been natural-raw talent! I was extremely fortunate to have been tutored by such greats. 'The Golden Platter'

Wow, I was there!!! This is, I'm pretty shore, the United in Group Harmony Hall of Fame induction show at Symphony Space, NYC, in 1992. They're not perfect, but since they almost never sang together (only once between 1958 and this performance), it was a very, very special moment.

One of the greatest moments for the Five Keys, UGHA , Ronnie I and all vocal group harmony fans. The original group, except for Rudy West, hadn't sung since 1983 and were not prepared or rehearsed to sing at this event and said so. With the audience all standing and screaming for them to sing, the Five Keys walked off the stage. But the screaming wouldn't stop and finally the Five Keys came out and sang, for everybody, one last time! It was heavenly and I was there to see it. Bobby Diskin - Brooklyn, NY.

@Bigbeatguy GREAT MEMORY HUH ?? I was a personality radio DJ for many years and I was SO STUPID for not having a tape recorder and camera on me 24/7. When you're in the middle of something you don't realize how much it will mean years down the road. I recently was telling some friends about sitting and talking to JOHN KAY (Steppenwolf) and JANIS JOPLIN (when she was with BIG BROTHER & HOLDING CO.) just before I was to MC a show for the radio station in Spartanburg,S.C. in 1970.
