Sarah, your explanations of what you are sewing are second to none, best teacher I've ever had. I have a question about your frame. How do you attach it to the table? Is it using 2 table holders? Please could you take it apart and reconnect it so that I understand how it works together. Thank you very much.

I loved watching this, not only do you have a very gentle voice which makes your videos really relaxing to watch but you show the stitches in so much detail. I’m still a very novice embroiderer & when I first started I tried to follow different stitches in a book I had. If only I’d found your videos earlier! However by following your many videos I have learnt so much I can only get better…. Fingers crossed. I heartily recommend them to anyone starting out in embroidery. Thank you sharing your expertise. PS I love the Goldwing ones too & hope you will be able to show us some trips out this Summer.

Hi, Sarah very glad i've found you. Your teaching of embroidery is the best, i have tried them all and not yet great at them all but am getting there. I have one question ,i have not seen you show the technical part of finishing off the weaving of the thread on the back after completing a line or when having run out of thread.Could you show that?

Sarah, thank you for shring the stitches. I had a chance to get a view of the frame which is holding your fabric. What is this model and is the fabric held with pins?
@SarahHomfrayEmbroidery

I use stretcher bar frames, have a look for my video about them Savita! Yes just pin the fabric to the frame. You don't get the annoying round marks on your fabric you can get with a ring frame

Hi Sarah, I’ve just found your site. Thank you for all your very informative instructions. I have just started embroidering and by watching you I have certainly learned a great deal. I am crocheting blankets for my new grandson at the moment and would like to put his name, etc on some of the items. How do I start this process please? Many thanks for all your assistance. Jacqui. Xx 💕💕

Crochet a small piece to practice on Jacqui! Use a thick wool and a large tapestry needle. You can hide the ends of the threads by running your threads through your stitches

What stitch would you use to cover the stamped caligraphy writing ( just like in caligraphy, each letter has both thicker and thinner areas

Probably a couple of stitches Susan, perhaps satin for the thicker part and a stem or back stitch for the thin part?
