They pulsate, causing Etho to pass out. When he regains consciousness, he finds he’s been corrupted by the sculk, and ends up with an evil alter-ego. Everyone is convinced he’s a monster made from the sculk posing as Etho. Everyone, and I mean *EVERYONE*, turns their backs on him. Leaving just him and his corrupted self, with no way of helping the others when he loses control… Also, Whenever too loud of a sound occurs near Etho, he loses control and uses his new sculk abilities (against his will) to kill the source immediately. The story goes through Etho struggling with his alter-ego and trying to convince his friends he’s not a monster.
