My biggest fear about this movie is... everything. FNaF has a very big lore, but that lore is hidden in small details because you're able to play the games over and over. You can't hide that kind of lore on a movie because you can't see it over and over for free. The animatronics may be very similar, but I honestly hope they make something very unique and creepy with gore so they keep the little kids of the fanbase away. Fnaf was never meant to be attractive to children

Finally some news about the film. But the smart move I would say is only do the first game for the first movie if they want to adapt games 1-3. The designs are also important making them normal in daytime but at night they’ll look terrifying. Plus they got to have a body count

I think they should start with the beginning of the timeline and close off where the first game begins, to stick with the fnaf lore we all know and love. And hopefully there will be lore reveals.

and the reason why I say that is because the first fnaf game takes place in like the middle of the story line, because a lot of shit had already went down leading up to that point. Like sister location was going on at the same time, and that's an important storyline. The first game is basic and doesn't add much to the plot, but should be referenced.

I think you can pull off having the animatronics talk and have it still be creepy. If you watch youtuber Battingtons FNAF VHS videos, he has the animatronics talk but usually they have this very worn out, broken, voice box for when they speak and it genuinely be horrifying if they did something similar in the movie.

Question is... Will the wait be worth it. Will this be a groundbreaking instalment in the lore, or will this just be an adaptation of something we already knew. I just hope the story isn't a generic 'teens get trapped and have to make it out alive' movie. There are so many more unique ways to tell the story that I would be very disappointed if thats what it turned out to be. I guess i'd be somewhat fine with it if it was similar to the books but even then I felt the books, at least the first one, was very lacking.

I don't necessarily think it'll happen but someone like Ethan Hawke or Christian Bale are people I could see playing a really good William Afton (for obvious reasons). But I also think that this could be a good opportunity to really test someone's acting abilities if we get an Afton in the film that isn't just a cameo at the end like how Johnny Cage was in the 2021 Mortal Kombat film.

Really hoping we get more information on the script itself. I think the director is important, but with the lore of fnaf, the writing is more important. Hopefully Scott wrote one to satisfaction, and they will use that. The directors movie seem to have good reviews, but I am worried about style and uniqueness, I think fnaf deserves to have a director who will bring style to it, while not being overly cheesy. EDIT: I understand that Scott picked a script that he liked, but we haven't got confirmation that they're even using the same script as far as I know.

As for the animatronics talking it can work if you have the right idea of when to make them talk and still make it fit the scary tone. Like how Willy's Wonderland under the right circumstance made it's respective animatronics talk without being too silly. On who can voice them I have some ideas. Freddy Fazbear played by Kevin Michael Richardson Chica played by Grey Delise Bonnie played by Tom Kenny Foxy played by Mark Hamill Figured it'd be a way to do a mix of both famous voice actors and regular actors to give some enough star power this way.

I watched The Wind, and it honestly creeped me out. It can be a slow burn of a movie, but it had some excellent scares. I really like the setting because you don’t get a lot of western themed horror movies. It’s also really ambiguous sometimes in its story which people might not like but I don’t mind. You know what would be a great scene for this movie? This: An animatronic has somebody cornered. They're screaming and sobbing and whimpering and shrinking away in Terror as the animatronic Lumbers towards them. Through their tears they mutter "why?" The animatronic then stops in its tracks. It then tears open its own torso with its claws, revealing a rotted, maggot-riddled corpse of a child inside. The victim then screams, and the animatronic lunges in and kills them.

Honestly if it were me calling the shots it would’ve either been Scott Derrickson or Tim Burton nothing against the Director that we have now it’s just that I think Derickson and Burton have a good taste for horror but who knows maybe this movie will be a masterpiece

Personally, I fell that William Dafoe could play the role of William Afton, the Purple Guy, flawlessly. we've already seen his skill at playing unhinged psychopaths with his portrayal as the Green Goblin in Spiderman. Further more, I can easily see Scott hiding Markiplier and/or MatPat into the FNAF movie purely because of how well FNAF and these youtubers have built their careers of off each other. Scott, Thank you for blessing us with these animatronics. Can't wait to see them on the big screen!!!
