Five of my favourite new pedals of 2023

It's hard to believe that this channel started at the beginning of this year! I have had a lot of fun and have gotten to work with some incredible pedals. The world of small builders is so inspiring to me. So many brilliant ideas and such a friendly and artistic communities. As a person who doesn't even know how to play guitar, I've always felt lucky to be supported and able to participate in this moment, which I think is the golden age of effects. It's astonishing to me to be entrusted with these precious devices. Thank you to the builders. And thank you to those of you who have watched my channel and encouraged me along the way. You have made my life better.
So my top five pedals that came out in 2023 and that I have personally played are as follows:

only couple of days ago I figured that it was you who made the strands' "main" demo. well, congrats, you sold me one, barely made it, they went out of stock way too fast!

btw, one of the main reasons to get it was the lack of mood mk1 stretch algo in mk2. having both revisions just because of that made no sense, especially when there's a new thing that does the stretching with new features by the same dev :)

@@OliverEvergreen Stretch is such a cool algo too. I have Stretch Weaver and Molecular Disruptor too but my favourite implementation of that is on Strands.

@@basementlyle stretch weaver is a blast in stereo. I mean, if you have two weavers... and a parallel mixer like duophopny, to sidechain stuff. one thing I miss in it is a reverse mode, like no sound = effect is on. as for the duophopny, wish both loops had separate trails mode (cutting send signal, not return). ah, typical me, always not good enough, nevermind :) good luck with the channel. I love that you work with actual melodies, not simple loops.

how do you afford so many expensive cool pedals?

buy second hand, sell those you don't need from time to time. basically, once you invest couple of grands, you can always convert them back into money. no loss, free usage.
