Ive had my ltz for 10 years now. Ive bought and lost 3 different bikes the whole time ive owned it and im just so glad i held onto it because the reverse alone is what makes this bike unbeatable by any other. i remember when i was out riding one day and i nearly rode off a cliff if it weren't for that reverse gear i would have gone over.

I had a 2006 Arctic Cat DVX 400 I bought new. Sold it to get into side-by-sides. Recently got the itch to find another LTZ/KFX/DVX and am stunned to see they are still getting the same price now as they did when I sold my DVX over 10 years ago. Most are in the $3000 - $4000 range even though some are now 20 years old. Amazing.

I just picked up a mint 2006 that was titled. I am stoked. I re-jetted the carb to enrich it & I must say it totally rips! It is def a lot of fun. It really is a great quad. Sad they stopped production of them

Nice! I had both of those at the same time. Should have just kept them both. Thats all the types of riding right there! Great collection. Enjoy.

Or get a 450 of any sorts, and just change the sprockets to accomodate trail riding better. Only thing your missing is reverse.
@trailridersandfun57982 жыл бұрын
Well kfx450r came with reverse but i still choose the 400 so comfy and perfect trail machine

Where does everyone buy aftermarket parts for these mostly? I don’t see a lot of great options. Just picked one up myself

Which company built this machine? I've seen a Kawasaki model which looks almost identical and there's also an Artic Cat one that looks similar too. Just wondering which company actually created these?
@FunGoingFast2 ай бұрын
Yep good catch. Suzuki made them, and they had a deal to share platforms with Kawasaki in the early 2000s. They had some bikes that were the same as well. And they used to have an ownership stake in Arctic Cat that ended in 2012, hence those models.

Do you have to pop the clutch to do a wheelie?
@FunGoingFast7 ай бұрын
If you goose it with some throttle it will definitely wheelie. Be careful though as it has a very light front end.

@@FunGoingFast ah ok thanks. Looking to buy one and I wanna do a wheelie while I tear ride it haha
