He is religiously brainwashed, contradictory in his beliefs and I wonder if I should waste my time on such a contradictory mess. I mean, my channel is full of globe earther post with some mathematical facts concerning their Heliocentric model, tons of things they consider proof and this guy knows nothing about the model he believes over God or has any facts on anything. I love my globe earthers, they bring some amazing things to consider, some just parrot fake science, but not all. This guys response here on his own channel and his video shows he has nothing but just religious propaganda to offer anyone. The other issue is that both Catholic and Lutherans do not take scripture serious or literal but what fits their dogma. That means you can't reach them on advanced topics like the Earth creation account when they have the basics trapped in satanic brain washing.

Very well done. I am seventeen years born again, and when God told me to start doing KZbin videos, I was so surprised how many claim to be Christians and flat earthers. I believe that the eclipses for sure prove the curvature of the earth too as well as having born again friends who are in countries below the equator with opposite seasons. Why does the Bible say "Earth takes shape like clay under a seal?" That is very clearly a Flat/ level description of Earth's surface. There is no other way to interpret that verse. We all know that a seal imprinted on clay cannot occur on a sphere. It is a flat / level surface by logical necessity.

Globe-theorists say that our atmosphere bends and scatters the light rays before they reach our surface, this alone would make that “experiment” null and void. If the light rays have been distorted then you would not get an accurate measurement. 6. Moon-light gives the same shadow angles as Sun-light proving a smaller and local light source will give the same angles. If he is in the Navy, he would literally be using gravity and the curve of the Earth for targeting things that are really far away. You're confusing it with another Hebrew term which DOES mean 'to deceive', however, in the oldest Masoretic manuscripts the 'shin' is pointed on the right side, not the left. Postscript-There's a difference between someone communicating using the language of appearance (which everyone else in their culture uses too) and rigorous/technical statements about celestial mechanics derived from careful, scientific study. For example, even a modern day Heliocentric astrophysicist might say to a colleague-"Hey, you want to go fishing this Saturday? If so, be let me know and be out front of my house with all your gear at Sunrise." Does that astrophysicist not think the Sun only APPEARS to rise because the Earth rotates? The astrophysicist surely knows, but is using the nontechnical everyday language of appearance. Kids who get off their first merry-go-round ride feeling dizzy sometimes say "Gee, mom, now the world is spinning all around me!" They too are speaking using the language of appearance.

I want to first state that I am a flat earth Biblical Cosmology believer. Secondly, this is coming from years of studying scripture and I do not mince words, I say here what must be said and if found offensive then you can take it up with your Creator. Allow me to explain; First he doesn't want to be "condescending and wants to use sarcasm because he thinks the idea is rediculous" though he makes the video anyway, this is not coming from a loving heart that wants to show from scripture that what you read may be misunderstood. That's not what he does. He begins by telling us that, "the Bible is not a cosmology textbook". 1. It is patently false that the Creator of the Heavens and Earth did not explicitly describe to us what exactly He created in detail. God doesn't tell us "some about creation", the vast majority of the old testament is about creation, here are just some of the "clues". What part of 7 day creation is not cosmologically correct? Let me guess, Genesis 1:6-7, day 2 of creation? "Then God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. Thus God made the firmament...." That word firmament in Hebrew (H7549) is raqiya, a solid surface, arch in the sky, vault of heaven, as if beaten out of sheets of metal. For there exists a solid barrier dome over earths face, then space exploration isn't possible. Genesis 2:1 tells us that the heavens and earth and all the hosts of them, were FINISHED. That's contradictory to man, saying the universe is ever expanding and vast. Moses in Exodus 24:9-10, Ezekiel confirms Moses in 1:26, what the firmament looks like. Above the firmament was where the "windows of heaven" Gen 8:2 are stored all the waters divided. Gods throne is also just above that, near and close, Isaiah 40:22. The earth is His footstool, ever see a footstool? Is. 66:1, Matt. 5:34-35, Acts 7:49. 2. "The Bible uses figures of speech," his terms used here are a logical fallacy. He gives examples of God's attributes that may be a figure of speech and in Revelation much of it is cloaked in figurative language. However, he gives not one example of creation or the miriad of scripture that describe flat earth as being figurative. When it comes to God listening to Joshua 10:12-13 command the sun be still so the children of Israel could revenge the Amorites. Is it figuritve? Should Joshua have commanded God be still the Earth? In Matt 2:9, we literally see His star guide the wise men to baby Jesus and "stood over where the young Child was." Is this figurative language? Here is one passage in Job 38:14 that is figurative. God describes to Job His creation, says the Earth "takes on form like clay under a seal." Search what that may look like in your search engine. Lastly, on this, whether it's poetic, wisdom or any other form of text, when God speaks it is INSPIRED and He wants to send a message to you. He's not cryptic or speaks in riddles. 3. "The cosmology of the Bible is not defined by that of other ancient cultures". Well, now he's contradicted himself and there is "cosmology of the Bible". To this I will just add a couple links for truth against this heresy. This point is absolutely infuriating to me, @6:30 mark he says the ancient Israelite’s believed things that we simply now a days know are not true. Didn't he just say prior to that, we've known for thousands of years that the earth is round? He just said that they(Christians) made up whole cloth the earth to be flat because of ignorance and the only enlightened ones were the pagans! 5. Hermanuetics? The context of the verse is people being lifted up to become spiritual leaders. The last sentence is directly addressing those mentioned in the previous. There are easy proofs that the earth is fixed and flat. For instance, the stars and constellations never change from century to century. It's our duty to present the truth for those who may not know it. Let's say you are floating in space. You look at the earth, and it is spherical, but yet it appears circular due to its size and distance from you. Does that make it flat because it appears to be circular? No. I also want to make another example. Water. Specifically water droplets, they are spherical right? And why does water accumulate into a sphere? Because of surface tension. Same thing applies to large objects in space, with the addition of gravity caused by a large mass. If the Earth was flat, physics would come into play and it would all collapse into a sphere due to surface tension and the gravity caused by the mass of Earth. Also, the rendering "earth" is not the same usage as our more modern usage "Earth" (capitalized, referring to our PLANET by name using a proper noun). In ancient/biblical times, a planet was commonly called a "wandering star" because it was always SOMETHING UP IN THE SKY and not the ground beneath your feet-which, in contrast, was referred to "earth" (= 'ground'). Many modern Bible readers see the older English usage "earth" in their English Bible Old Testaments and mistake it for "Earth." My point here is that Isaiah is not describing our planet but the LAND, when he says: "It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers…" My surmise as to what "the circle of the land" is which Isaiah mentions, is that it is all of the landscape one can see in every direction out to the 360 degree circular horizon from wherever a human observer is standing at that moment. Isaiah's statement that God sits "above" this landscape and its inhabitants "are like grasshoppers" strikes me as at least a characterization of God's greatness compared to humans if not also a statement about size (God, being a spirit, perhaps does not have a three-dimensional size, though the incarnate Jesus in New Testament times certainly did). To me, Isaiah's comment seems to communicate at least two things: (1) God is far greater than humans, in some analogous kind of way comparable to humans being greater than mere grasshoppers are under our own feet; (2) God is AWARE of us being in this kind of relationship to Him as He observes us from his 'third heaven' abode. There actually are some interesting implications from this verse if this understanding of "circle of the land" is correct. The first implication is that wherever you are standing at the moment, the circle of the land you can see all around you is not FIXED. If you travel from that location in any direction and for any significant distance the "circle of the land" MOVES ALONG WITH YOU wherever you go in a way that you can see. It's true that mountains and rivers (etc.) may appear and then disappear along such a journey, and that the local landscape changes constantly, but the "circle of the land"-and likewise the overarching/concave appearance of the overhead sky wherever you are-ALWAYS TRAVELS WITH YOU no matter where you go or how far-even if you sail far out to sea in a ship. This 'movable circle' geometry has direct implication for the shape of our planet, because it would only hold true for a spheroidal Earth. (Picture holding a dime-representing the human observer's circular field-of-view within "the circle of the land"-with your finger against a basketball-representing a spherical Earth-and then picture gently sliding that dime to anywhere else around the basketball's entire surface.) If someone wants to assert that the imagined ice wall where imagined the solid dome firmament 'touches down' against the landscape is located in Antarctica, then I welcome some photograph evidence of that ice wall. I haven't seen any to date. I don't understand how anyone can do a serious study on the complexity of the cosmos and not see divine creation. I see it in all of creation. Hi Jordan. Nice video. My first thought with this was also "why now?", and for what purpose (mock Christians?). As far as keeping things secret, yeah that's a tricky one. Keep in mind though that we are currently being taught Big Bang, and evolution stuff, which we know is not true. So if they can get that in the school books, what else have they lied about. With regards to the four corners, I always believed that referred to North/East/South/West. I've seen the "models" of the Flat Earth, and yeah I agree, that's incorrect, e.g. it's not square with corners. Pillars of the Earth? Who knows what holds up the land mass in this world. I don't think it's just floating. Round or flat has nothing to do with salvation. I agree 100% on that. But having said that, the globe believers (spinning ball at 1,000 mph) need to explain the lack of curvature (with people have verified using lasers, etc), and the flat earthers need to explain a 24-hour summer day in Antarctica (impossible on a flat earth, but videos also available).
