Hi Caitlin! Another artist I would really LOVE for you to listen to is Lyn Lapid if you have not heard of her and her music yet! She's new to the industry, about a year now and all her songs so far are just AMAZING! She recently just released her new EP called "The Outsider" and I just can't get enough of how amazing and relatable it is!😭 Please do take a moment to listen to her
@essyamusahal9074 Жыл бұрын
Omgggg maybe you can do a reaction to her movie she made a movie with five seconds flat! It explains A LOT MORE than the music although I lOVE the music 2!

I agree lock Ceilings in a vault of pain & keep it away. I’m obsessed with the build up of that song & the line “& it feels like a movie I’ve seen before” & how that ties in with so much of the album

She has an incredible voice! Sometimes people in the indie-folk singer-songwriter genre don’t possess the most extraordinary voices because the genre doesn’t call for that. However, her tone and vibrato remind me of Yebba and Gretchen Parlato. And she sneaks in some glimpses of vocal agility that are so crisp. Very soulful, crystalline, true bluesy voice.

this is one of the only albums that i've liked every song start to finish. i truly can't pick a favorite. i listened to five seconds flat, and then give me a minute, and enjoyed both of them so much! i'm so glad lizzy is getting the recognition she deserves! can't wait to see your reaction :)

Undeniably a great lyricist! Lizzy brought everything great into one album (lyrics, voice, and production.) When an album makes you feel you are there too, it’s a great feeling and a rarity. I don’t think I’ve felt I’ve heard such a great album since Lana’s “Norman F-ing Rockwell.” It’s awesome to feel that feeling again! :) Always nice to have an album where one track does not suffice and you want to consume more, imo. :)
@GracieP22 жыл бұрын
so happy you love this album! i went to her album release show in london and lizzy said orange show speedway is about how she went to a edm festival and all the guys reminded her of her ex and it brought back loads of memories of 3 years before when she went to different festival with him, so although she'd never been there before she felt like she had

This is such a good album! Lizzy is such a great song written and has an amazing voice!! My favourite songs are reckless driving and hate to be lame. I love your videos 💗✨
@raec78912 жыл бұрын
you should see the movie for context but basically it’s about her breakup, then erase me is basically when you try to move on and hook up to forget your ex but you just feel disgusting. in all my ghosts the album fast forwards 3 years to her being in a new relationship and all her ghosts being with her is her exes, the last part is referring to the first ex on the album. reckless driving is the fact that she isn’t ready for a devoted relationship like that so they break up and the rest of the album is she reflecting on how she never got over the first ex in the first place and was just lying to herself
