That's an amazing suite you have there for your stay. Its a really, really, really cheap price. A hotel like that here will run you about 400 to 500 US dollars a night.

It was an indulgence but when you compare it is a regular priced hotel room back in the U.K., or States!!

NIcely done, Iain. It doesn't hurt to stay at the Ritz Calton and what you have paid is so little comparing Ritz Calton in New York, where you would pay about $841 a night, probably without breakfast.:( I hope you are ready for some spicy food.:)

That’s why I am experiencing the five star hotel as I couldn’t afford it in the U.K./USA… I have just had spicy hotpot, oh my!! 😂

Oh, nice, the Ritze Carlton; I could never do that in Canada. My best hotel experiences were at the Shangri-La in Tianjin, and The Intercontinental Hotel in Hong Kong (Victoria Bay view).

I have herd so many good reviews about the Shangri-La in Tianjin… I am hoping to go there as my friend Bruce has a photo exhibition in Tianjin and I may get through their to enjoy that and the hotel 👍

I usually avoid hotels like the Ritz Carlton because I am not able to afford it anywhere outside of China. Lucky you! I am so envious.

Lovely hotel and thanks for all the info and room details. We stayed at a cheaper place in Chengdu in 2019 and the first hotel wouldn't accept me as a guest, after my wife had booked online, so we had to get a taxi somewhere else.

I saw a Tick Tock video that put it at about 3,000 RMB (rent was 1,200) I would say 5,000RMB min per month would give a more decent experience... but remember, I live in Beijing and was just visiting Chengdu so please do some further research just to be safe. Rent will be the highest cost.
