Your brain!!!! 🧠 I love thinking about alternate realities and how time works and stuff. I am so stoked for Rouge as well!! Ever since we talked about it back during Plastic Monsters I have been so excited for this book! Also I got a great mom but love these type of stories tooooo 🤣😂 I think reading things that are different from our lived experience helps with perspective.

The Shining Girls adaptation is SO good! Although I have not read the book yet ( it's on my TBR) I Loved the show! It's very parallel reality!

Hi! I love your channel. I'm super excited for The Reformatory as well and I just wondered if you had ever read either of Tananarive Due's short story collections? Ghost Summer and The Wishing Pool. She has multiple stories set in Gracetown in both (more in Ghost Summer) but I think reading those have made me even more excited to find out more about the town.

oh, if you like lightly speculative stuff and suspense - you HAVE to read Adrift by Brideau. It has amnesia (but smartly done), several strong, complex female characters, interesting character journeys, page-turning suspense, climate change impacts, a boat named SeaDragon. Highly highly recommend. Just came out a few months ago & I need more people to talk about it!!!

Hi, I just finished reading a thriller book that I found for free on Amz and I highly recommend it to you. "Motion Detection" The plot is engaging and written in an unusual way. But the real twist comes at the end. I don't want to give away too much, but I can assure you that you won't regret reading it. I can't wait to hear what you think about it!

Books about the multi-verse, alternate realities also make me twitch .... can you recommend some interesting ones to check out?? THE SPACE BETWEEN WORLDS is on my list, but I'm not sure about any others .... thanks!!

The Space Between Worlds was good. Also, if you haven’t read any Blake Crouch, that’s a great place to start. Dark Matter especially. There’s one called Gone World by Tom Sweterlitsch that’s pretty mind blowing. Also, The Book of Two Ways by Jodi Picoult. I did a vlog called “Reading Books with Split Universe Tropes” a while back. There are some others in there.
