I’m wondering… I’ve always heard to walk after a meal… is that because of the blood sugar levels spiking after a meal?

yep blood sugar being main reason. But I've heard few other reasons as well - 1) speeds up metabolism 2) sends signal to the brains - feeding is over, now time is to utilise the energy 3) fights post meal cravings (for those who have eating disorders or food addiction).
