Not a green practice per say, but I've been feeding and growing a relationship with local birds. Literally in my yard. Leaving them carefully selected seed and making sure my water fountain is clean and safe for them. Its been a beautiful way to connect to nature, be proactive in helping native birds, and also having a little fun with my indoor only cats who love bird watching. It hits a lot of notes that have made me feel more connected. I've also gotten so SO many feathers as gifts, from all sorts of birds. It feels like the spirits themselves have been blessing me with feathers.

Part 5 is the reason I got into herbalism. I was trying to see why herbs had certain magickal associations and it didn't make sense to me until I looked into actual folk remedies. Instead of being afraid that certain herbs weren't edible or the preparations didn't make sense and felt wasteful, I am able to properly use these plants and give back to nature and my loved ones. Now I've completely turned my attention toward herbalism specifically to learn (and practically use!) plants. It is SO empowering! Completely agree with you!

I'm one of the few males that is going towards this path, but I can only consider myself a novice "learner" at this time. As you mentioned, and it's one of the first things i've accomplished...is being much more aware of one's natural surroundings/connecting, even in the city. I work on an emergency ambulance, and I can still "hear" the call of a raven, even when i'm busy. BTW, your content is wonderful and your style reminds me of "Scarlet Ravenswood"

Just a point about #3, alot of people skip/refrain from doing this because their families or partners may be religious and they can't show displays of these sorts, for whatever personal reason (respect for others, fear of retaliation,etc.). There are plenty of ways to keep a magickal home however, the bells and whistles are only what make it special once you've found a space that is truly yours. Maintaining what you have to work with is your biggest focus, and has an immense effect on one's mental (or aural) health. Very calming video, good tips ~

These are good tips :> I am lucky enough to live near nature (mountains, forest, and ocean), I don’t do much magic outside of my home but visiting nature is a very good feeling. I also have a garden that I take care of. I’ve found along with harvesting things for the purpose of, well, using them, when I trim back plants I can also use those trimmings ^^ the other day my family had me cut back our Basil’s flowers so it would continue producing leaves, I have the flowers in my bedroom

Tip from me, whenever your going shopping or foraging ingredients use the ability to see magic in the ingredients or crystals. You want to pick and chose berries and crystals that glow brighter than others. So if you have 2 quartz crystals that are the same shape size etc you would want to pick the one with more mana, aka the one that glows brighter. The brighter one will hold more magic will absorb more energy’s and will generally be better. I use this when going to search for crystals and the such and it helps me with magic batteries. Just a pro tip.

🌲🍀🐾Your SINCERE connection to the Green World is what draws me & probably others to you. I got that way from fishing, whilst wading in creeks, rivers, streams, and such. When a "Lady" such as yourself, talks about & shows respect for the Forests & All Natural Places, it always turns my head in their direction. Anyway you slice it, it's pure MAGICK😉. 🐾🌲🍀. 🏆🏆🏆

I’ve always felt connected to the wind and the rain and bodies of water. I love to see fish swimming around in lakes and even though I’ve never been to the ocean, I feel like it’s what my chakras need. I would love to finally start my journey and hopefully figure out all of the wonders it has to offer. Watching these videos have inspired me that I should start there and see what signs are brought to me. Not necessarily a green witch but maybe a blue one 💙 The healing properties water holds are wonderful and I would love to contribute back and heal the waters as well

All excellent suggestions or reminders for those who already know. If one considers a home a reflection of one's self, it's very important to work on making it as much of a peaceful sanctuary as possible, and clean. I would consider myself a Green Witch I love to connect with nature but I have to admit I have never been big on gardening. I have a very bad back so I have a few perennials that come up every year and I water them and enjoy how they bloom. I guess my practice is to love nature and do what I can to help the earth. What really bothers me is I use to have a house and a yard and really enjoyed feeding the birds. Now I live in a condo and get this, we aren't allowed to have bird feeders and they are very strict about the type of plants you are allowed to plant around your condo. It is like everything is sterile and no wildlife allowed. There is a nice old cemetery close by me that has lots of trees and nice easy pathways I can walk and I enjoy that very much. Thank you for your suggestions on ways to connect with nature and earth.💚🌲🌳

I keep telling myself that I need to start spending more time outside. I am a major house hermit and I know that that has been cutting me off from connecting to the Earth and it's energies. I feel...stunted? spiritually because of it. There's several reasons, probably more like excuses, as to why I don't go outside more but I definitely think I can start sparing at least 5 or 10 minutes a day to go outside and wak around my yard, pick up trash, sit by/talk to my big maple tree out front. I've also noticed this plant growing next to my deck that I have no idea what it is and I had an intense feeling the other day when I noticed it that I should go out and try to learn more about it so I guess I can add that to the list to.

Tending magically to my home is probably the number one thing in my practice. Since I have to tend to it every day anyway (tidy and clean) I can just as well incorporate some magic into it and make it a daily practice that doesn’t take a lot of extra effort. It’s also a very good way of combining having small children and practicing witchcraft actively. Makes the mundane witchy.

Firstly, I LOVE your wardrobe and I hope to have outfits like yours! I also absolutely agree with points 4&5. I remember growing up and not realizing that berries don't actually grow all year round so we have to ship them from faraway places that do not necessarily grow them naturally- just for the consumers to always have berries to buy which of course, is very taxing on the environment. Because of industrial farming and medicine we have definitely lost touch with nature and the power of it and I really hope that society finds the benefits of a more green philosophy to their lives despite it not being the best decision economically.

That’s one thing I love about magick even if I were to give the haters the fact that it’s not “real” in the way it’s used, it’s still very much real, some of it is based in medicine and some can be used like ink blots. So much of witchcraft is built in things that even without the spiritual aspect they are still very useful and important things to learn.

Great advice! I've just begun my practice over the last 6 months, and am more elemental focused with a planetary focus down the road. The things you mention are what attract me to green witchcraft. I feel like I already kind of fall into most of this by pure coincidence. I'm an avid gardener and will be using many local wildflowers in my flower gardens next spring. I will not only be using them for my magickal practices, but also knowing I am helping the local bee population is simply a win win. I've also been cooking for the last 8 years and will continue to use what I grow in my food. The only thing I do not do yet is incorporate my herbs into any kind of medicinal practice. Over this next winter I would like to at least gain some basic knowledge on herbalism. I'll check out your other videos on that topic! Thanks so much for all you do here on your channel! :)

Amanda, you don't have to do "big things" everyday. Just focus on what you can do. If you can "do dishes, or a load of laundry", just do that. By the time you wash, dried, folded, put away clothes, linen. That's a big thing. Make sure you take care of yourself first. Eat, nutritious meals, stay hydrated. In no time at all you'll be feeling better. BB

I bought a plant book in the winter and have slowly been identifying different species on my walks. When I get home, i find the plant I found in the book, read about it, then add in magickal properties on a sticky note to each page. I'm hoping to have that book filled out in no time! ^.^ also taking note of animals I see has proven useful. Any animals I see tend to confirm tarot or astrology readings. ☺️👍 and my home is witchy enough that I'm sure it makes the landlords a bit nervous when they come around for inspections hahahaha 😂🤣🕯

Hi. I just discovered your channel. I'm 61 and have been interested in nature magic for many years. I am also a gatherer of local nature tidbits that I find beautiful but never understood how to use them magically. I have so many questions! What is the best way to educate myself on identifying and magical properties of plants I find locally? I live in south Jersey. Books ive had over the years are about common and uncommon herbs. I would love to learn how to use what grows naturally around my area. Do you use spells or enchantments to charge the seasonal things that you put around your home? I love displaying what I gather when I'm out walking my dog and would love to give them some magical energy and intent. I'm looking forward to exploring your content. So far you are the only creator who comes close to how I would love to practice. Simple uncomplicated connection nature energy around me. ✨️

Love this, thank you it's a great start. Im so excited to learn more about my local plants as I know our local fauna is prized for their medicinal properties. Lot of ancient history to it. Their is such beauty living in South Africa and I never want to take the fynbos floral kingdom for granted.

I wish I had time to go for a walk like this. I miss the ocean, but I also miss the redwoods, and the forest. On a different note, where did you get that skirt? Is there a pattern, or a store? It's just *amazing*.

ive moved to a big city to be with my partner. However i am feeling a big disconnect with nature. i used to spend alot of time in nature and now that i cant, i am starting to feel really bad. ive been trying to grow a garden on my balcony and bring some green indoors, but it sadly is not the same. Its at a point where i am willing to break things off if he wants to stay in a city.

Hello Annabel! Do you ever consult with people on how to heal from pain and inflammation? What would the cost be for such a service? I love your energy and approach to your craft, and if a patreon membership is the way to go for this advice, please recommend which level. Thank you so much! ~Kimberly

The closest place where there's a concentration of nature, is a park downtown, in my city. I don't think there's much to work with in terms of herbs, plus, I think they'd frown upon me taking leaves and stuff 😔
