Thank you so much for this! I'm hoping to get in publishing (eventually!). I actually just finished my masters in Publishing, I work full time and live in Manchester so getting work experience would be difficult to work around given where I live and having to get time off work, and I wanted to have something on my CV which showed I had an interest. I also love learning stuff so it was also for me to enjoy! My plan is to start looking for jobs in the New Year so fingers crossed haha

Hi! Yes I’d recommend checking out The Bookseller’s website - every week they share the bestseller charts and there’s a column for which publisher publishes them. I’d start there! ☺️

Hi! Absolutely - it doesn't matter what your degree is in. As long as you have some relevant experience in other areas and show that your skills are transferrable, then you've got a great shot of getting into the industry. Thanks for watching! :)

Hi! You don’t need a specific degree (or in some cases any degree/masters) to get into publishing ☺️ as long as you have relevant experience (could be customer service, marketing, PR etc in any field) it doesn’t matter what your degree or masters is in! Good luck ☺️
