I am drunk on tinned fish these past few days and couldn't be more satisfied. When I was in college I had a class on childhood development which was fascinating. Kids like ketchup before mustard (sweet = ok...acrid = poisonous). It's a thing. Eventually we develop a set of stones and try the scarier stuff and become well-developed human beings. Maybe, before I die, I'll try a slimy raw oyster. Or not. Thank You. Merry Christmas :)

It's good that you started late, I began my life by feasting upon canned fish. What I did not yet realize was that my tastes would evolve in strange and idiosyncratic ways. The meals kept getting stranger, and my taste kept evolving. The comestibles upon which I feasted took a turn for the ungodly. The sin of gluttony is the cross I bear; for I am only able to dine upon victuals that would turn thine brow slanted, with anger & holy retribution. I dine upon the flesh of man, it is all that remains palatable to my profane tongue. HARK! And make sure this dark knowledge remains betwixt your ears, and hold it with an iron grip!
