My thinnest blade is probably the clip blade of my Rough Ryder Classic Carbon Large Stockman which I have modified to be pretty much the ultimate slicing folder with almost nothing behind the edge when it is sharp it can cut cardboard better than a fresh box cutter blade. For overall thickness my thinnest knives are a pair of small fixed blades I made to practice heat treating 1095, and my thinnest folder is probably a single blade Barlow I made out of an old Imperial electricians knife.

I have the Kershaw Chive. Similar to the Leek with a shorter blade. It is my backpacking knife and has been with me for hundreds, even thousands, of miles of hiking. Thin, easy to carry, and one handed opening.

The dividend is really great knife. Incredibly light, thin and functional!

I have carried too many knives because of weak clips that snag on seat belts👎 I stumbled onto my current knife while looking at higher end knives. It's a SOG SLIMJIM XL ,and it has become my favorite by a large margin. It checks all the boxes for a EDC knife!

My Benchmade proper is my go-to thing knife. I carried it exclusively for over a year and it’s earned a spot in my favorites list.

I've been looking for a super thin, assisted folding knife for edc and thanks to your review I am now carrying the Kershaw Leek that you reviewed. Thanks for doing what you do. My arthritic hands thank you too :)

Love the Leek. Super slim, really effective cutter and classy. That Case Barlow is sweet! The king of slim for me is the Victorinox Bantam Alox. Great video, Scout! 🥃

You might want to check out the Kershaw Scallion. Slightly smaller than the leek but spring assisted and the blade is 2.4". Which is good in places where max legal length is 2.5".

Great list and video! The thinnest knife I probably have is the Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara II...love that knife. Update: Just put the caliper on my CaraCara and it is exactly .400

SOG money clip knife, without the clip, less than 0.2". Not as easy to open or close, but it fits nice and flat in the pocket.

Awesome video man. I think the Spyderco Para 3 will serve well as a fairly thin, compact EDC option too. I love mine. Plan to get the Code 4 soon.

The code 4 is amazingly carryable for it's size. Just wish it wasn't so slippery.

I like the Leek without a clip actually in my pocket. Best buy knife IMO.

I wouldn't like a spring assist knife like the leek floating in my pocket

What about the Bugout/Bailout?

it's very good, and very thin, but the brand is a bit of a lightning rod right now.
