Thanks Alex. I used to sketch all sorts of subjects - but then the cars took over :) Going to try and get a bit of balance in again.

Prior to recording, position your intended item on the table and place sticky tape to mark the corners of the visible video coverage frrom your overhead camera. Then whenever you place an item within the taped markings, you don't have to look up to check. Cheers

That was fascinating, Stefan. I really enjoy watching you draw. I realise I have no talent in that direction. Luckily the one thing I can draw is my pension. Take care, hopefully our paths will cross this year.

Good to find this on UY. With the building drawings, do you sketch in the street or take a snap and draw up at home?

Thanks very much for commenting. All the sketches I talked about in this video were done on site. I mostly try to do my sketching from life as it's a fun challenge and a lovely way to spend an hour or two (providing it's not going too badly). Somehow you learn a bit more about the subject when drawing from life than you would if you were using a photo. Of course when I'm doing commercial work, I often have to work from reference - or from my imagination. Could be an interesting topic for a little film - thanks :)
