I should read Keegan’s book again-then try to see the film. I love the idea of comparing it a bit to Dickens’s Christmas Carol. 84 Charing Cross Road is a perfect book to read during this season-and for many years I have read it every New Year’s Day (as a few other booktubers do). It is such a perfect way to start each year. I will have to pick up Gawain this season! That particular translation is sitting on my son’s shelves in his childhood bedroom, I think!

I actually realise now that all the books I've talked about here have some sort of screen adaptation! That's a lovely tradition, and a great book to set the tone for the booktube year! Ooh I hope you enjoy it, Hannah!
