You can be a part of the LAPD in this community, no problem! As for SWAT, we have a similar "ERT" unit for PD which you can join once you reach an appropriate PD rank. Just be sure to stick around and learn what the server has to offer. In my experience, this server is much easier to learn, compared to a lot of others.
