I agree! I have built a media server in my house that now is ran through my car stereo system for the family vehicle. Movies and video games for the rear crew and a amazing stage for me and the wife while traveling.

Not surprised that the interface worked fine on the 2018 - Being the last year for the Focus MK3, Ford was making no changes other than some subtle de-contenting.

I did a 2014 Ford focus st. For my son.. it had a spare tire well instead of a tray....the mids and highs were surprisingly good..we tapped into the rear speakers with an audio control lc7 (,we went big so the system could grow later)with Accu Bass and self turn on worked great but we had a scare because of a bad ground that we we sure was good until we checked with a multimeter.

What is the stock speaker wiring capable of handling??? I noticed you guys did not run new wires from the doors to the rear.

i have a 2018 focus sel sedan and an amppro works like a beauty just have to maek sure you get the amppro for the 2017 ford focus since they dont technically make one for the 2018 focus

welp, found a better place to ask a better question. I also own a Focus RS. The maestro equipment you used, is that specifically necessary for the Rockford Fosgate amps? If I wanted to use an Audio Control D-5.1300, could I go straight from the factory Sony amp to the high level input of the new amp?

I don't know if you guys carry the line, but being that this came with the factory Sony system, I think it would have been kinda cool to install the new Sony Mobile ES line speakers into it. I haven't personally heard them, yet, but, if they are anything like the old Mobile ES line from WAY back in the day, when I was still installing, I can't see them being bad. Plus, all of the Sony badging would still be correct! Also, just curious, as I have seen you wear a few shirts from Phoenix Gold, but, do you carry the line?

I had the DSR1 in my Focus ST. While it was an excellent plug and play system, it was so finicky and temperamental, and eventually had a electrical short somehow and fried the whole system.... pulled it out and moved on.

That's not just a focus its a RS focus the better version of ST

ST's are weak compared the RS.......accept for the head gasket issue on the 16's
