Hi Skyler, Shayden, and Landon, I loved looking at, listening to and watching this 14 minutes and 54 second video of you all having fun. Skyler I loved when you told us, your Facebook friends that the Quints jumped at the chance to tide Shayden’s room up for him and that Violet left some Liquorish on one of his pillows and Lily wrote him a note on cardboard that was on the other pillow. That was so sweet of them both to do that for Shayden I especially loved the name Shayden made out of Lego and the great big heart that Logan made out of big Lego Blocks just for Shayden, because he misses him. Landon I loved the great big ball of Pop Corn that you found in the back of your dad’s car that the Quints left behind. That was and looked so funny. How in the world did they manage to make the Pop Corn into a ball and have it stick together and stay together. They were very cleaver to do that. Skyler, Shayden and Landon the Sushi looked very yummy that you three ate for a lunch date. Skyler I loved the little electric Wiggle Cars with songs and noises that it played and made that were gifted to the Quintuplets. They did look as though they were having so much fun riding on them and racing each other on them too. Skyler I loved the Christmas Stocking Stouffers that you bought. It is a great idea to go through last year’s Christmas items and decorations to see what you have so you do not buy things that you already have. I am sure toy could use last year’s Christmas Stockings, Christmas tree and tree decorations too that would save you spending lots and lots of money on Christmas items that you already have. Then you would have more money to buy great presents for your 7 children. Skyler I did love the dolls you found and bought for Violet, Lily and Daisy they all looked very beautiful and something they could play with for a very long time. Skyler if you shop a year ahead for gifts for your children then what happens if new items come on the market, or if your children change their minds or they stop liking an item and what happens if you have bought it already at the beginning of the year and come Christmas time it is not what they want any more. Or if they want a book and have t wait a whole year till they get the book they wanted to read then it would be old news by Christmas. Yes may be buy items after Christmas on sale that you will use at Christmas time like wrapping paper gift tags and decorations. Remember they also have a birthday coming up in the year ahead and get given gifts then too. Great Christmas Shopping there Skyler. Skyler Lego has been around for many years my 53 year old brother, 50 year old and 48 year old brothers all grew up playing with Lego and to this day my mum and dad still have the long red wooden box that has a lock on it that my brothers played with when they were children that my 6 year old nephew now plays with. I also have an 18 year old niece a 16 year old niece and a 14 year old niece from two of my brothers one is not married and I am not married. I am 51 years old and have Autism and still live with my 80 year old dad and my 78 year old mum we all help one another. Skyler you did really well with your Christmas shopping for your 7 Children. You bought lots of great fun items for them all. Way to go Skyler for someone who does not like shopping. Skyler have a lot of great fun with the Quintes for the whole 7 days straight that you have them. Skyler I loved seeing how Mile your black cat was keeping Shayden’s bed warm for him. Great video:) Love the relationship you have with your boys so special :-) Yep I figured you were at least $150-$175… You could easily get the etch sketch for the boys because they love building and doing that type of stuff and they would have a great time with that for hours and then just get the girls something different. Just a suggestion. You are teaching them such a valuable lesson right now for them to understand that not everything has to be the same for each other :-) now you have to get to wrapping:) Have a blessed Thanksgiving with your family and friends:) Tfs and God bless:)

I did my Xmas shopping in late August and early September. Walmart had some great end of summer sales on almost everything! And, as you said, then you won't have to take it all out of 1 paycheck. I've had secret Santa gifts and a few extra to buy at the tale end, but it's been nice to spread out the holiday expenses.

I think all the kids need books to promote reading. Also dont forget the older boys. We haven't seen much of Landon. The boys are so handsome! I bet Landon really missed Shaydon! We used to get fruit, oranges, apples and nuts with the shell in our stockings as a kid. We also got new pajamas and an outfit. One year we all got new bicycles. I am the oldest of five, 3 girls, 2 boys. My mama had twins boy/girl on the 3rd pregnancy. Me and my sister, 3 yrs apart, twins 4 yrs younger, then my baby brother 7 yrs younger. How about some activity passes to do things together? Zoo, concert or fun park? Some cash or gift card to buy something they like. The after Christmas sales ste the best time to shop for the birthdays snd upcoming year. I noticed they started clearsnce pricing some things before Thanksgiving and Christmas! Keep your eyes peeled!😊🎉😊 I love Millie the kitty cat, i think she needs a sister to keep her company!😊🎉❤

Girls usually love those stick horses. I am a retired teacher and I can tell you it’s very popular for girls 6 to 10 to enjoy playing with horses. I have watched little girls even pretend to have a horse in their play.

Lego really is expensive but stuff like simba and the camera are supposed to be collector items for adults to build and set down as decoration. However there is still good sets of one or two cars and a character that’s 10 bucks!

Be careful, NEVER plug these 12v battery toys in to recharge over night or when you are not home! We recently had a similar toy with a 12volt battery for our 4yr old granddaughter, plugged to recharge after playing with it, hours later we started smelling something terrible coming from the garage, it smelled like a hair perm, took us a while to find what it was, had to open the battery up, it was smoking and all melted! Scared us to death, it was at night, we were getting ready for bed. I read the 12v gets too hot. Do some research, just be present and alert when Recharging!

I typically do the dollar store for stocking. Infact 2 things you got already are there ! Lol I have 4 nieces and 3 nephews that are close in age. So we did the same. We found 2 similar items for boys and 4 similar for girls. The girls we got them jewelry maker kits ! Those are pretty cool for the quint girls an they typically do good sales after black Friday, I get them for 6 to 10 each ! For the older boys I don't know what you do, but for my older kids one is 14 an the other 17. I buy them the deodorant, cologne , shampoo , tooth brushes. then like a 10 dollar fast food card they enjoy. By the time I am done I typically spend about 40 bucks on the older stocking, but we'll worth !
