Hi, the rods, and so also the tip of all Beiter buttons is out of plastic, maybe Delrin.

I own both the beiter and AAE and they are very compareable, at least at my rudimentary skill level.

I have a AAE gold plunger which I bought in order to not groove my arrows. It worked well until the tip wore to the point that it marked my arrows. Oh well, I’m not good enough to notice the difference in my scores.

Any chance you could just buy the $80 unit and just swap out the plunger tip with the more expensive one?

I use a Shibuya plunger ($50). It comes with both brass and teflon tips and is very smooth (and you can buy spare parts). Pretty sure it's made in Japan. Holycrap... they use (and invented) Hastalloy™ to build nuclear reactors!! ...and I'd rather my arrows wear out than my plunger, coz you have to replace arrows over time anyway - I'd rather not have to chase up spare parts for a plunger several times a year.

If you talk about a product in comparison, please prepare better. The Beiter plunger has no metal tip. The set includes 2 light grey and 2 black plastic plunger tips.

I've always wondered. is there any difference between the grey and black tips (other than the slight change in length)?
@hawkgranville53173 жыл бұрын
@@x3roxide I emailed Beiter and they said the tip colors are only to identify length = White Length 34 mm Pin, Black, Length 36 mm, Green, Length 42 mm , Darkgreen, Length 44 mm.
