I have the same issue but when I install a new door switch set the problem remains the same. What next step is which part to check to fix the microwave oven that TURNS ON when opening the door or closing it and does not stop unless unplugged.

Problem could be with the circuit board

Thank you for your suggestion. The problem was in the circuit board I unplugged the circuit board and plugged it back in and the microwave worked just fine. No issue!!! Thanks again.

I have the opposite problem.. the fan and turntable turn on when I close the door... but the microwave works just fine... all three switches are good

The video was good but was it really a scary situation? Seems like the microwave isn't really actually on, I believe just the fan is on. Excellent video otherwise. Too bad Toshiba has exposed the one part that does make it scary to fix the problem.

It holds electric charger.

When I open the door 🚪 the light kicks on and the plate spins no is not hott But or I close the door 🚪 and set the 30 seconds or press 1 etc it doesn’t do nothing only light turns on and spins when I open the door LOL 😂 and it doesn’t heat nothing either 😂
