Thank you so much!!! You showed every possible way to clear a jam. I was trying to print notes on a 3x5 index card for studying. I guess my printer didn't like that and jammed. I open the cartridge door and didn't see it. I had to turn the printer over and open the underneath panel like you showed and thank God I saw it right there and was able to pull it out. Total life saver when you have lots to print at 10 o'clock at night and don't have time fooling with the printer.

...and if all steps described in the movie do not help, maybe you have a problem with a sensor that is not released. I did the following and it resolved the problem. Disconnect the power and take out all wires and papers. Hold the printer with your two hands, turn the printer upside down and shake it lightly up and down several times.

I did the “clean ink smears” Slide to the right, click Setup, Tools, Clean Page Smears. I did everything in the video and nothing worked until I did this step

if you don't see paper in printer it can be a false error as well,, just like mine.. all you need to do is go to setting > tools > scroll down to restore factory default and boom... within a minute all set

This does not help. I've done everything shown in this video. There was no paper inside, but when I try to print the paper is getting crooked and the printer doesn't want to print. I will never buy an HP printer again Edit: I may have overreacted a bit. It seems that one of the rollers is bent and one side rolls the paper. I apologize for the rude words, as my printer has helped me in many tough times and it should be an easy fix Edit again: It was not an easy fix, not even possible to fix the rollers. Instead, I bought a Brother printer. Bye, HP

For real. They all do this automatically after a certain amount of time, especially if you are not on their automatic ink subscription. I think they program them to start jamming on purpose so you'll buy a new one. I'm never buying HP again.
