Increasing the shadow resolution in AC made things look much better for me in VR. The Targa Florio has never looked better. Thanks

One thing I’m noticing in monitor and VR is that the tree shadows on the track sort of snap to a higher resolution as the car passes them. It’s not an issue on monitor because it happens as the driver/car passes so you don’t notice. But something that’s causing frustration for me is that in VR, that transition is happening out in front of the car so it looks terrible. I actually prefer the tree shadows to be lower resolution because that’s what they look like in real life but the game seems to force this highly detailed leafy tree shadow on track. I’d love to just get rid of that altogether but have no idea what setting is causing it or if it’s just baked in

I should add, while playing on monitor you will see that transition if you are in chase cam but not in cockpit view. Idk if this is just my game with my settings or how the game is normally. Would love for anyone to give some advice

Is there any way to fix the fog problem when using linear color space fix? When the fog is at maximum it is as if the fog enters the car

You could try to change the weather, then open "pure config" and go to "Shaders" and change the ground fog. I posted a video on linear color space, maybe check that out and see if any of that information will help you :D

i run my shadows at 6144 otherwise they dont stop flickering idk why tho

Hey, I sometimes have freezes, there are some servers where it's unplayable even when I have the game optimized. I have pure and a csp preview which is good. I'm on Ryzen 7 5800x / RX 6600 (8gb) and 16gb ram 3200.. What do I need to improve? Will going up to 32gb of ram really help me? the games are on ssd

yeah same cpu and when i monitor the cpu the usage spikes to 100 percent and i get 500ms freeze
