I am happy that the original one failed. I know that you have changed the other one couple of years ago. I also had to change one of mine in the front, but i've changed both. Bought them from ebay, and after 3 years they work great.

You didnt need to cut the wire on top of the strut just disconnect the harness on the end of the wire.👍

I took my S7 in after getting this warning, I wonder if I have the same issue. They inspected the air suspension and found no issues. The compressor worked fine, air held fine. so I wonder if its a wire.

im waiting on a new bag for my a8l, first one i received was dented badly. I've been buying S class, A8, land rover with bad suspension for pennies on a dollar and fixing them. I even show how to make the valve extraction tool for the w220 S classes on a video.

Self leveling system will cause them both go down eventually

Do I have to depressurization the air system before replacing ?

Yes, the strut airbag should be empty. Just let the leaky one bottoms out before removing it or the nut will fly away so hard that you may hurt someone or something.

My front left bag is blowen and the front is low as it can go but the back is as far up as posibile (lift)dose any one now how to drop the back down to dinamic mode and make it stay there please i just want it leveled out

If the system is working, the car will level out automatically, nothing you can do to make it leveled

@@3dogs1monkey i herd a pop not sure if it was a line or the bag its self then the front droped i hit dinamic the back droped down it was like that for bout a week could still drive it .then the back just went to lift mode out of nowere now it wont go back down can i reset the ecu or some thing or take the air out of all the air bags some how?????

What interface do you have? Do you have fakra installed on your head unit? Or did you get a newer “A” head unit from 2007+?

@@3dogs1monkey My Audi A8 4e 2004 is not built in with TV module. So bought A8 use module. And what i need are the connection cable and other component. Just like your demonstration TV/Video Installation. I will send you a picture of the TV module. Thanks Andrew

You cannot get a 41mm impact socket in the top plate hole on a 2004 a8l. It's a smaller hole. It just wont fix. You need to bite the bullet and remove top plate, then the 41mm nut on the ground. It also looks like that hole on your car has been enlarged. I'll check on my 2007 S8 to confirm

Veikra it’s a tight fit, the car must be on the ground to push the strut up for the socket to bite.
