Nice troubleshooting and repair. Usually it turns out to be something simple. But some times finding it is the real problem. I have an older version of Weller WS-51 soldering station. It stopped heating up after a few decades. And since it isn't in production anymore, I had to buy a new heating element from a newer versions and adapt it to the old hand unit. It was a little tricky, but it now works like new again. Thumbs Up!

Great video, except for one thing, NEVER sand a soldering tip, they are coated , as soon as you sand the crome protective coating, and the coper is exposed, they will be eaten up in just a few solder joints.

Never sand down the iron tip, it removes the protective coating, and solder will not stick to it and the tip will be eaten away during soldering.

@@zana3587 it would be awesome if you would let people to buy those tools from you. You could sell all the used tools that you fixed and repaired. I think many of us would buy it. It is not that we want cheap tools, it is because here in europe even if you have a blue bosch tool, noone wants to fix it. For example, new 18v cordless makita is 65 euros, so noone wants to fix my old makita or bosch. I am forced to hrow it to trash and buy new. People became lazy, they want fast money. Hi Dahen big thanks! Do not do much electrical work and bought this on impulse. Never had much joy with it. Just never warmed up enough and thought it was a gimmick. Was looking for a strip down post to see if I could use parts for another project. So glad I found your channel!! It was a lovely sound when I got my continuity bleep!!! It is now working as it should. Got a blister to prove it!! Doing my research I found a great site for all things Parkside ( tips included) at lionshome.co.uk. Many thanks bud.
