Dearcturn on optimus in your laptop and make sure u directly launch the game from exe and not shortcut . Turn off nvidia shadowplay from geforce experience . If u have Manage display mode in nvidia ctrl Panel choose Optimus from the list and try again.

@Elias Sepperl dear can u give me your Pc config along with laptop model . U need to disable integrated graphics card from your bios first if that allows you to disable . In Desktop make sure you have connections properly setup with your extenal display .

It worked at first, but then i tried changing the in-game graphics and set most of them on ultra/ultra+, but it the vram used and ram didn't turn red (bottom left) so i thought it's fine to have those graphics, but when i pressed esc to continue playing it crashed and it's the same error. ps : i have rtx 4060 windows 11 pro 12th gen intel core i5 12500H 16gb. also i can't see the display mode.

Dear - No Need of Manage Display mode- Just make sure your Integrated GPU is disabled in your desktop . Check your BIOS for a setting that makes GTX 1060 is the Primary GPU . Also make sure that your display cable is connected to HDMI in your GPU and not motherboard.

Dear , Ok , whats your GPU and config of your laptop . Check your BIOS - there should be an option to change integrated Graphics to Discrete Graphics or option called switchable graphics - set that and restart. however, if there are none options like that in your BIOS then its a manufacturer lock enforced on your laptop and cannot be switched to discrete graphics on demand. Laptop Makers do this to avoid damage and possible overheating in desktop mode . if possible, look for a BIOS upgrade provided by your laptop maker that allows you to change graphics card .

You have to get into your BIOS - ON YOUR FIRST SCREEN CHOOSE ADVANCED MODE - GRAPHICS CONFIGURATION - HERE YOU HAVE TO CHOOSE YOUR GPU OR ON YOUR MAIN BIOS SCREEN YOU PROCESSOR , GPU , RAM SIDE BY SIDE IN BOXES - CLICK GPU AND SEE IF ALLOWS TO CHOOSE GRAPHICS CARD THERE

I believe - its a Desktop - to fix this problem make sure your hdmi is in the correct port which is the GPU one

@@huzefaghadiyali5886 Dear , check what was recently got updated on the desktop , first Restart and try , Make sure your are able to access NVIDIA CTRL PANEL . when it opens up, close it and try to launch the GAME . if it fails - close GOD OF WAR exe from Task Manager . and try again . Make sure for this GAME - the Desktop is not selected dedicate GPU . it must be set at automatic switchable Graphics . for this In the Nvidia CTRL Panel - go to manage 3D Settings - GLOBAL SETTINGS - CHOOSE AUTO-SELECT , Program settings - add GOD OF WAR exe to the list and choose preferred Graphics adaptor = NVIDIA HIGH PERFORMANCE PROCESSOR . In the List of Features - Power Managent mode - choose max performance . for WIN 11 - choose Power option - Best performance , Wind 10 - Power plan HIGH PERFORMANCE .

@@gameram551 sorry about the comment. I fixed it my laptop has a mux switch so it was on after turning it off the game is running perfectly fine. I will delete my pervious comment.

Dear , iI believe you are using Desktop RTX3050 - Connect your display cable in HDMI of your GPU and other side to your display. if Manage display mode is not available, there should be another setting in Nvidia control panel Global settings - i have added in the description. if still missing - you have to check your bios and choose you discrete GPU from BIOS and start your PC again . if there are none setiings - look for BIOS updates. if there are still none - then its your dekstop or laptop makers forced settings to prevent your Desktop or Laptop in desktop mode to use integrated GPU only . this is laptop maker specific settings . the file that is using integrated GPU is dwm.exe forced to use integrated GPU .

Dear ,what is the Graphics card in your laptop or desktop , it your laptop or desktop has Integrated GPU and dedicated GPU . make sure your settings is set to switchable graphics in your PC . you should not select dedicated card for this GAME. Note- this GAME will not run on Integrated card at all , you will need dedicated VRAM to play the GAME of atleast 4GB VRAM and minimum 900 series Nvidia GPU and AMD equiavalent card.

AMD or Nivida does not matter : just keep your GPU mode to auto swayable GPU or keep Integrated GPU selected by default , if it does not work , chosse Integrated GPU , restart PC and try again .
