Same. I play cs2 on predator i5 13500hx 4050. And my cpu temp rich to 90+. So i started using balance+ + max fan and solved it's max goes to 85(without any cooling pad) i use laptop on my desk with no any ventilation.

My cpu power peaks to more than 110 watts on turbo and performance mode and temp reached 100degrees the solution that worked me was to use throttlestop and configute tpl limit between 35 to 55 watts..than no any issues with great gaming experience

You need to go to TPL option and limit pl1 to 35w and PL2 to 55w....you can get videos tutorial for this

FAN SPEED - MAXED IN ALL MODES CPU- 6000-6100 RPM and GPU- 6200-6300 RPM Room Temperature - 32 Balanced - 75-80 Watt GPU and CPU below 70 watt, with 75 avg temp (15% less PERFORMANCE than Turbo) Performance - 90-100 Watt GPU and CPU below 80 watt , with 90 avg temp (10% less PERFORMANCE than Turbo) Turbo - 100+ Watt CPU GPU both, with 99-100 C temps (MAX PERFORMANCE OF SYSTEM) I am a casual gamer so Balanced mode is the best for me

I was also facing issue with acer predator neo 16 then i went service centre and told him the problem he opened the laptop found that thermal paste is slided below processor so he adjusted it and issue fixed. So firstly check paste that might fix it in first time i have i9 13th gen rtx 4060

Bhai aap ki jarurat ke hisab se 3070 makes more sense than 4050. But uske alawa laptop overall Predator kafi better hai , Nitro se. Jo build quality milegi aapko , thermals milenge , performance aur longevity milegi , durability milegi etc better milegi Predator mai. To agar 4050 mai kaam ban raha hai aap ka to predator le lo aankh band kar ke. Nahin ban raha to I'll suggest 15k aur daal ke Predator ka 4060 le lo. Abhi kharcha hoga but long term mai bahot faayde mai rahoge
