My tub is same brand and has removable Velcro panel. I used a flat blade screwdriver and inserted it in the screw in the middle and was able to turn the impeller. It would still hum and not come on. Read another uTube site and it said water must be covering the jets for it to work. I filled up the tub, pushed the button and the jets worked. I am 86 year old female and have been able to do some minor repairs by watching uTube.

Just for future reference the screw right there in the middle is specifically used for freeing up the impeller so you don’t do what you did to fix it. I mean there are two ways to skin a cat but just for your safety

Did the Velcro panel come with the jetted tub or did you come up with that enclosure?

I was just renting this apartment and the tub was already there. I assumed the velcro cover came with it
