FIX - Lenovo T440s frozen at black screen & keyboard lights on

Disconnecting and re-connecting the internal battery solved my problem and my Thinkpad T450s was able to reboot again. Thank you.

Thanks! I suspected the internal battery. :D Laptop's a bit lighter now.

I bought a new battery and it didn't help. I took the bottom off (as the video) and found the internal battery disconnected - I might have dislodged it but I don't think so. I reconnected the original. It didn't change anything. I installed the new battery, still didn't work. Info, please??

Mine powered up fine with only the external battery, so at least there's that. Google Lenovo internal battery 11.1V 45N1110 45N1111 or something. It doesn't look like there's a lot to pick from at first glance.

I removed the internal battery and then tried to boot off external battery. No help. I then removed both batteries and booted off AC power only. That got the display working. Then re-connected external battery. Next I'm gonna try a new internal battery.
