I was literally just crying because I felt so broken and beaten down inside. I walk into my room and my sister's watching this movie which I've never seen before and this song is playing. I was literally just on the ground begging the Lord to fix me. Funny how I hear this song and the exact words coming out my mouth came not out of my own but out of the Lord. Through this song I know he has heard my prayer and is not fixing me but has already fixed me. To those who feel as though I do right now I hope the lord speaks to you like he did me today. Not only that but he breaks you down and fixes you right back up. Since there are some that break down and never get up. When I heard this song in the movie, I just was in a state of catharsis - tears and joy for God's glory. Music is the most powerful force - and this gospel song is haunting. Queen Latifah really sings with so much feeling - I couldn't help but sing along. Absolutely fabulous movie - the music was off the charts....a must see!

I love this song! Listen to 2:16, the way the music ( the piano ) gets deep and the choir is singing in the background. That part always gives me chills. Especially at 2:37 ``Fix-me Jesus'' that part she has so much heart and soul to it. It is so spirit lifting everytime I hear it.
