What's annoying is that there is an install button in 3 separate locations. Microsoft Store, Minecraft Launcher, and Xbox App. Only 1 will work depending on how and in what order you installed them or where you logged into last. It's a terrible customer experience, but unsurprising for Microsoft. They have terrible, multifaceted approaches for customer experience and this is another prime example of that. Something that should be as easy as clicking a single button and another to confirm installation, is turned into a guessing game of multiple apps and multiple pages within those apps.

This helped. You’re my new favorite person. All I had to do was install a few windows updates. I’ve been so panicked trying to figure out why the launcher wouldn’t install and nothing I’ve looked up for the past several days has worked. That was the only problem, I think I’m going to cry. i downloaded mminecraft deluxe pack but it didn't install java, it said i had to buy it, but when i checked my windows i see minecraft java, i clicked on it and press launch java, it sent me to a browser that is no longer supported "we're sorry but the page you requested cannot be found"

Okay when i try to install it on Xbox it just shows a frowny face, and when i try to download on the store, it does the process but then just before it finishes it resets and says install again
