Minecraft Launcher has always been that shit with a tons of issues that never get really fixed. Its sad we dont have another good option to use unless the pvp clients

My launcher just purely doesn't even show a sign of opening. The swirly blue bar shows up for a second, but disappears. There isn't even a way to get into the launcher's advanced options on my computer. It just has a greyed out "modify" and an uninstall button. Edit: I found the repair in the startup wizard. It says that windows isn't able to find/compute a certain file. This happens with no other app.

OH, remember that if you delete all these files you'll loose your singleplayer worlds, if you want me to tell you how to save them you can reply later cuz i need to check if mine are still there lol

OMG I MISSED ONE STEPPPP I deleted the launcher, re-downloaded. NOTHING. i was like oh, let's delete all mc files. NOTHINGG! I was THIS close to giving up... bruh i forgot to reset my device. It works now, thanks for mentioning that I need to do it....

Is this just for java edition or bedrock to? I can't play java edition like I was able to before microsoft screwed us. I can play bedrock just fine. I bought the game so I should have both java and bedrock editions. I think I have it anyways.

doesnt work as of 6/5/24, windows 11, latest update, doesnt open. i did some digging in the files and found out that the launcher is completley bugged out. i opened the gamelauncherhelper at the aame time as the launcher from the file location and it launched and said "windows could not launch this app"

terrible advices. The problem is still there, as they appear after I click on play in the launcher. You tricked your viewers by just saying "and go ahead and start playing minecraft" without actually showing that its correctly working. Naming yourself "Gauging Gadgets" with the aim of scamming and gaslighting your own viewers is crazy. I wish everyone who reads this all the best and dont fall into this mens trap!

unfortunately I have done all these steps, and bedrock still will not work. It opens at "34%" loaded, then closes 2 seconds later. Java is fine, so I don't know why this is a problem :(
