Fix or replace a drywall bathroom ceiling

So here we replace a drywall plasterboard ceiling in a bathroom which was damaged by a water leak from a recent storm.
I was also trying to teach the work experience kid junior how its done.
You may also want to replace your bathroom ceiling because the paint is peeling and it wasn't painted correctly in the first place.

does the drywall for bathroom ceiling have to be green or blue or regular drywall is the way to go ?

Regular is ok, however any board that has a water pipe should be water resistant board

Yeah if the screws fail somehow the glue will hold it

Hi. I saw here. You use a glue to help fix the plates. What a glue that is. here in Brazil we do not use that. because here the work is different.

What made you decide to replace the entire ceiling instead of just patching the holes? Maybe you mentioned it in the video, but I had a hard time hearing you.

Those holes were just for the exhaust fans there was a small leak. Not much damage to the ceiling and cornice but orders from above send me to take the whole ceiling down. I could have fixed it in about 30 minutes otherwise
