For the people who are having this issue, I also had it,i couldn't even see the safe mode screen, but i read somewhere that if your hdcp(in system settings) is active,it might not recognize the device which is not compatible with the hdcp standart. I went out, plugged it to a different Monitor then deactivated the hdcp and woosh, it worked in my tv at home. That might be the issue

This just happened to me and I fixed it like this: 1: unplug PlayStation from the power plug. 2: unplug HDMI from your tv and move to another port. 3: plug all back in and press and hold on button for 7 seconds. 4: change resolution and let it restart. 5: back to normal

Had this issue myself. Quit working on Older TV with HDMI but would work on newer monitor. While plugged into newer monitor I went to: Settings > Sound and Screen > RGB settings > Set it to "Limited" > Then plugged back into older 1080p TV HDMI port > (RGB setting reset itself back to Automatic) and it had no more problems. Before I would get a flickering screen, snow, or no signal at all. Hope this helps.

If this isn't working for you, make sure your PS4 is turned off before holding the power button and hearing 2 beeps. (Should be about 7 seconds) It will enter safe mode, change resolution, YOUR PS4 WILL NEED AT LEAST 1 MIN TO RESTART!!! Then after that it should work just fine. Was having a lot of issues and I just wasn't waiting long enough.

I think the fact that I was on automatic caused my issues, it would only appear midgame where my monitor would cut in and out, but I set my PS4 to 1080p and I think my problem is fixed now that it won't try to change resolutions mid game for some reason, thank you for this

Choose 720p instead of automatic.... Shut off hdr then set your resolution to 4k or whatever you want. The issue is Samsung tvs and hdr.

If your screen still says "no signal" after you have hold down the power botton for the 7 seconds, try to unplug your HDMI-stick from your tv, and then unplug your tv, plug the tv in again and then the HDMI-stick. That should get your signal back.

Guys I fixed my problem. So my problem was when i start the ps4 i get a voice but no video is shown. But there is no sign of ( no signal ) just black screen with a voice. How ever I tried everything on the safe mode ( i tried updating my ps4 by internet and changing the resolution) and it didn’t work. Then i got mad and turned off the socket while the tv and the ps4 were on. Then I turned it on back and now am playing overwatch 😍. Sorry about the lang, it’s my second lang.
