I was almost gone a dump my tablet, before I saw this video. I have the exact same RCA model with windows 10, a repair store told me that the screen was not working and it would cost more than the price of the tablet. Finally, I tried and did a reset by pressing the ON switch and inserting the power cable after pressing the ON and it came back to life. Thanks for advice : )

Thanx. Pushing the power button 30secs worked for my Cambrio w1162 11 inch windows tablet. After I shut it down, it powers on normally again with a 3sec power button push. I have a second backup exact same tablet just in case one dies.

For windows, plug in a usb keyboard and if you can get the rca logo to come up, press f7 for boot menu, or esc, f1, f2, f10 or del to bring up bios. You may need a usb install for that device to get it running again. I had the rca logo then just spinning logo, i mashed top row to get it into recovery and repair.

NOTE: In the video the technician uses a short press of the power button to wake the tablet from sleep for purposes of demonstration. Anyone trying these steps should use a long press of the power button because the tablet needs to reboot, not wake from sleep.

Even taking the tablet apart didn't work for me. I have had two RCA Voyager tablets and they both suddenly stopped working after less than a year. It's frustrating to say the least because I did not abuse them and the second tablet simply went black while I was using it.

Found the screen connector had come unplugged from my son throwing the tablet around rca kids version, removed rear cover from tablet clipped the screen connector back into place and the scree was working again, before only the backlight was working but now everything is working good again simple fix

it works! thanks, one thing that I found annoying for Android version of this, which is RCA Voyager, is that if your battery is totally dead that doesn't hold charges anymore, and you plan to power it on with a charger only, still doesn't work, you need mandatory a battery, or else, it will never turn on even if you have your charger plug-on

On some models the reset button is a tiny hole on the back (it's about 1 1/2 inches left of the camera). The word RESET is in raised black plastic letters above it and the word is hard to spot. To do the reset, open a small safety pin and push it inside the hole until you feel the button press down. I'd recommend holding it down for 10 seconds.

i had a rca voyager 3 i found in my closet tdy and it didn't turn on, i was curious to see what was on it and none of the methods from videos worked so if you are having the same issue like me just flip it over and gently squeeze the back up and down and turn it on lol it worked
