God bless you for this video - was having serious tablet withdrawal when I awoke to the "black screen of death", this morning. I'm not entirely sure which of your methods ultimately fixed the problem, but your video gave me the confidence I needed to smack the crap out of my tablet, and that's when I managed to bring it back... ...THANK YOU!!!!!!!

@@sichemistrychannel6616 Unfortunately, after at least a dozen resurrections, my tablet stopped responding to any of these methods - nothing I would do worked. The tablet itself was still working (my alarm was going off every day at 10am!!!), but I couldn't get the screen to light up. I relented and decided to take it in for repair - hoping that I could just get the screen replaced and all would be well... ...after about a week of diagnosing (trying multiple screens and sending the tablet out to a specialist who could test the boards within), the repair shop said it was not fixable - they believe the issue was something in the board. I'm not sure where to go at this point - planning to pick up my sad, broken tablet from the shop, later today. I'm certainly open to any suggestions as I'm devastated without it - and the concept of having to save up for a new one, is depressing... :(

I bought my samsung tab s9 fe nov 25th, 2023 then i used it shortwhile like 1 hour sunday morning. Monday nov 27, the screen totally black. I followed the tips you shared but it doesnt work. Im upset because i bought this as birthday gift for myself. Tomorrow i will bring return to samsung shop.

Wow, the "smack" method actually worked. I've tried everything else, nothing helped. Once I gave my tablet a few good whacks and tried force restart it turned on!!! It did restart once more after booting but after that it's working normally, for now... Judging by the amount of views and comments on this video it seems to me that this is a common flaw with this model. Which is a real shame because otherwise it's a great tablet.

one month old tablet and it just blacked out. volume down plus power button for 30s+ and i'm out of the black screen. it doesnt have any damage etc. it just did that by itself.

Same. Only had my A9 for two months. Just woke up one day and it need charging, plugged it up showed charging then next day backlight. But black screen.

😂Omg I have the Samsung tab s9 ultra I tried everything nothing till I tried the last method THE FREEZER 😂left it 20 minutes it came out frozen 😭I was like yeah now it’s done for sure we’ll I let it sit till it was regular temp again and put the charger then press power on volume down button. psa: IT WENT BLACK EVERYTHING NOT EVEN THE CHARGING ICON WAS POPING UP but now it’s working fine after a lil freeze 🥶

That's really awkward, but after having tried all methods mentioned, I did exactly like you. Put it in freezer, got it out, let it sit in regular temp, put on charger and press volume down + power button. Magically, it worked lol. Really saved me from a heart attack 🤣

Mine is turning off when pick it up to show my partner a video sitting over from me if picked up from the right just when I grip the side my palm has to touch the screen and switches off somehow? It's weird I'm trying to replicate it now to see what's causing it, it's very annoying
