I like to always keep guard up with other hand and everything you throw a hook or even a cross ALWAYS end the punch in a position balanced and ready to come back immediately with another punch all while again keeping the other hand in a spot to protect face.

Do you know why russian style coaches teach leaning forward when throwing the left hook ? Are there any reasons or is it just a mistake .

I can't seem to connect my lower body(hip) rotation to my torso and shoulder for the hook punch,it's slow and weird,any tips? It's weird how in the vid how to throw a strong hook by Liam Harrison,there isn't any hip rotation yet his lead hook sound like a round house kick to the heavy bag. The hook is just so confusing.
