NO!! i tried 3 drives and they ALL fail at the 1% load mark, even after going through these steps. My SSD list a drive 0 at 223 gb and drive 1 and 14 gb, so i selected the 223gb drive and typed all correctly, exited, and poof same issue and same warning 0x8007025D :/

DEFINITE SOLUTION: Using a Windows 10 Installation DISK, not USB, my installation kept stopping at 58% file installation. I had used this disk before and it worked so I knew the files were there. I cleaned the disk with water and tissue and it went up to 74% on the next attempt. I didn't want to but then cleaned it with liquid soap and water and it went to 100%. So check if your DISK is dirty. I said if it doesn't go all the way, it is of no use anymore and, at last resort, I was going to try rubbing alcohol; I felt there was nothing to lose. With that in mind, for USB users, I'd try downloading them again, as something might have corrupted a file.

The fix for this issue is change the partition scheme when making a bootable usb drive. And make sure the ssd or the hdd is also the same partition scheme. Then try installing and the problem will just go away.

@@FilioPlayz try cleaning the hard using diskpart and then give the command convert gpt and complete it. After that when making the bootable USB on Rufus make sure the partition scheme is also GPT. If that doesn't work try the other way. Convert the SSD to MBR and use the other partition scheme on Rufus. I am pretty sure that'll work. But can I know your processor ?

@@uoic In my experience, I just straight up deleted the boot/OS partition and reinstalled again (mine took three attempts to install😅). But if you have valuable data on that partition, take the hard disk, plug it into another device, copy or clone the partition on an empty hard disk, and then you are safe to delete the partition and reinstall the Windows.
