Thank you for the tip. I unplugged and powered everything off for 30 seconds. Plugged everything back in and held my breath. Pushed the button and it's working again. You just saved me a big headache and money..:)

You need to unplug the main cable from the Xbox for 10 seconds and then you plug it in you should be able to turn it back on

if you have a wired controller to your xbox, and if its not showing any signs of life, try connecting a wire into your controller via the xbox port, and try to turn it on, this worked for me

If it's old enough the thermal past on the IGU could be dried out and the motherboard shut it off to prevent overheating.

I have this problem too, if nothing works in this video then please take a second too read this comment because it could save you time and possibly your money, let's say nothing in this tutorial worked, what I did to find out what the problem is was unplug the cord and check the light, if the light is still on after you've unplugged the cord from the wall then it's not an internal issue and all you need to do is replace the cord, most of the time it's the cord not the xbox, however if the light turns off after it's unplugged from the wall then it's probably an internal issue or somethings wrong with the outlet, so if you wanna make sure it's not the outlet try plugging something else in in its place, I hope this helped someone. (Edit) When I say cord I mean power supply incase you couldn't tell

My Xbox guide button froze and I couldn’t do anything for about 15 minutes so eventually I just turned off my Xbox and now it won’t boot back up at all. I’ve done all the reset stuff I’ve checked wires and outlets and it all seems to be completely fine but it still doesn’t boot up. When I try to boot up my Xbox the light turns on and that’s it. This seems to be a common problem with The Xbox one X. My friend got an Xbox One X in April after I told her how awesome the console was when I got it last February. Having mine for months and almost a year mine never had any problems. But hers croaked literally today and I heard it definitely wasn't the only one! Thank got we still have our Standard Xbox Ones working in case anything bad like that happens, but yeah, I got an older Xbox Christmas 2015, never had a problem with it. And I had my Xbox One X since the 6th last February. Also never had any problems with it. Her other Xbox although still works, experiences minor problems too, like she said sometimes it has problems turning on, and sometimes it turns off at random. I'd blame the electricals, there might be possible shorts in the outlets or the wiring. With all the crap I have I'm surprised my wiring or outlets haven't shorted out yet.
